Vasiliki Evangelou is a veterinarian and the founder of TailMark Certification, a company that certifies dog-friendly accommodations across Greece. Her work sits at the intersection of professional expertise and genuine passion — and her image needed to communicate both.
Before the session, we talked about who her clients are: accommodation owners who need to trust her judgment, and travelers who need to trust her standards. The images had to carry that authority without losing the warmth that makes her work meaningful. We decided to shoot in studio — clean light, controlled environment, nothing to distract from the person.
During the session, we worked through several setups — some more formal, some more relaxed. Her dog joined us for part of it. The best images came when she stopped thinking about the camera and started talking about her work. That's usually how it goes.
The result was a set of images that looked like her: direct, warm, and completely at ease. Images that say something true before a single word is read.
