For Anastasis and Marina, Zagori has always carried that quiet magic — a landscape of stone, silence, and slow, generous light. Returning here on August 9th, 2025, to celebrate their tenth anniversary felt not like a photoshoot, but like an invitation to witness a decade of love settling into its most honest form.

Where it Began — Kapesovo

We started our afternoon in Kapesovo, one of the most atmospheric villages of the region. Its narrow alleys, carved stone steps and wooden doors created a natural backdrop that felt familiar, almost intimate. Anastasis and Marina walked side by side, talking softly, smiling in that effortless way couples do when they are truly comfortable together.

There was no staging, no need for direction — just presence.
A gentle touch on the arm.
A shared look.
A quiet laugh that echoed softly through the stone walls.

The Timeless Arches of the Kalogeriko Bridge

Our next stop was the Kalogeriko Bridge, one of the most iconic structures in Zagori. Its three arches have a way of shaping the space around them, creating a quiet grandeur that doesn’t overwhelm but invites you to slow down.

There was no water flowing beneath it that day — the dry riverbed revealing the textures and layers of the earth instead. But the stillness of the place added a kind of clarity to the scene. Anastasis rested his hand gently on Marina’s back as they walked across the stones, as if grounding the moment in something deeper than words.

The bridge became not just a location, but a metaphor — a crossing, a continuation, a reminder of how two people keep choosing one another, year after year.

Oxya – Where the Horizon Opens

As the sun softened, we arrived at Oxya, above Monodendri, where the cliffs stretch into a vast, sculptural landscape. The wind carried a light coolness, the kind that makes you instinctively lean closer to the person beside you.

Marina rested her head on Anastasis’ shoulder, and he held her with the kind of simplicity that comes only after years of shared life. No performance, no need for perfect framing — just truth. A small gesture, but filled with the weight of ten years.
